After graduating from college with a B.A. in Business Management Mr. Hayton attended Western State University where is earned his doctorate degree in law in 1983. He was in private practice and was president of Hayton Law Corporation for 20 years. Mr. Hayton left private practice when he became Principal of a K-12 private Academy for three years. In 2009 he went to work with Adventist Risk Management handling liability claims in North America, South America, as well as Asia/Pacific territories for the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist denomination. Mr. Hayton is an associate of Hiroshima Daggett as a litigation attorney.

Geoffrey Hayton is a graduate from Loma Linda University, Riverside, California with a B.A. and Western State University, School of Law.

Mr. Hayton has extensive experience in civil practice, including Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury and Social Security Administration. He served as President of the “High Desert Bar Association.” Mr. Hayton also gained knowledge in educational law and school management during his years as a school principal. Most recently Mr. Hayton has years of experience as Claims Counsel managing and defending liability claims involving religious organizations. This included attending depositions, mediations, and trials. He has also given numerous presentations nationally and internationally on school and church liability involving areas of premise liability, sexual misconduct/harassment, and firearms in churches. Mr. Hayton has experience working with international hospitals in managing medical malpractice claims.
